Jharkhand govt orders closure of all schools today on impact of cyclonic storm DANA

Ranchi : In Jharkhand, the special impact of Hurricane Dana can be seen. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of the state is likely to remain bad till October 27. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in entire Jharkhand today (October 25). Heavy rains may occur in some areas of Southeast Jharkhand. While there is also a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds in some parts.

Regarding this, the Department of School Education and Literacy of the Government of Jharkhand has issued an order, stating that the India Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains and strong winds due to cyclonic storm Dana in the state of Jharkhand.

As per the request of Deputy Commissioner West Singhbhum Chaibasa, as a preventive measure, classes from KG to 12 in all government, non-government aided, unaided (minority) and private schools in West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts under Kolhan division Chaibasa will remain closed on Friday i.e. today.
