Schools in three districts will remain closed on 25th in view of Dana Cyclone

Ranchi: In view of Dana Cyclone, the School Education Department has issued an order to close all schools in three districts West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan on 25th October. The order issued states that the India Meteorological Department, Weather Center, Ranchi, Jharkhand has warned of heavy rain and strong winds as an effect of cyclonic storm Dana.

In the light of the request received from the Deputy Commissioner, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, it has been decided to keep classes from KG to class 12 closed on 25th October in all categories of government, non-government aided, non-aided (including minority) and all private schools operating in West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan districts.
