Ranchi Assembly Seat: Suspense still on seat sharing, confusion continues between Congress-JMM
Ranchi Assembly Seat: There is still suspense about the Ranchi Assembly seat. Under the seat sharing formula in the India alliance, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and the Congress are contesting together in 70 assembly seats. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has released the names of 35 candidates in its first list, while the Congress has released the list of 21 candidates so far. But there is no clarity yet on who will get this seat in Ranchi assembly seat. According to sources, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha may again be the candidate from Ranchi seat.
According to media reports, there is a situation of dissatisfaction in the Congress amid this confusion about the Ranchi seat. Congress leader Aditya Vikram Jaiswal has questioned the working style of the state Congress leadership, saying that Rahul Gandhi always talks about participation on the basis of participation, but the state leadership is ignoring this principle. He alleged that the state Congress leadership has prepared to give Ranchi seat to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which will prove detrimental to the Congress organization in Ranchi.
At the same time, Aditya Vikram Jaiswal also questioned the working style of state Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, saying that the state president is working like a remote president. He demanded that the state president and the leader of the legislative party answer why the Congress is not contesting on Ranchi seat. He also said that Congress workers in Ranchi are being kept in the dark and there is no proper communication with them.
