Congress Politics: After the completion of assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Maharashtra have now come in the political axis of the country. As soon as the equation of seat sharing was set in the NDA coalition here, the next day Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Rahul Gandhi sat down and prepared the formula for sharing seats in India Block. However, Tejashwi Yadav’s opinion was not even taken in preparing this formula. Tejashwi stayed in Ranchi for two days but CM Hemant Soren did not even meet him.
According to the formula of CM Soren and Rahul Gandhi,
JMM and Congress will contest 70 seats out of a total of 81 seats in the state. The remaining 11 seats will be divided between the RJD and the Left parties. However, the RJD has not liked this. RJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha has clearly said that the party has been hurt by the way the seat sharing in the alliance has been announced in the absence of prominent leaders of his party. “Our party has kept all options open. On the other hand, the equation set by the BJP in the NDA has been happily accepted by all the constituent parties.
Political observers say seat-sharing with allies is not a new issue for the BJP.
He says that BJP always respects constituent parties. In the Lok Sabha 2024, the party had unhesitatingly given the Giridih Lok Sabha seat to AJSU, while this seat is considered a BJP stronghold. Despite JDU’s low number of seats in Bihar, Nitish Kumar was made CM. Similarly, there is Eknath Shinde in Maharashtra. In Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti was also made CM.
